CHNV Humanitarian Parole Programs Targeted for Termination

The administration moved to terminate categorical humanitarian parole processes created for certain nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, commonly known as CHNV. The programs allowed eligible individuals with U.S.-based supporters to request advance authorization to travel to the United States and seek temporary parole after screening. Ending the programs affects people already paroled into the country as well as those seeking to use the process.
